This year marks more great "firsts” for the 34th annual Run with Nature – with a new location, and new run and walk courses. The races take place along the paved trails of the Humbug-Willow Creek Trail system. You'll be amazed that you're in the heart of the City and yet surrounded by acres of beautiful natural scenery, open space and wetlands.
The course options include a 5.8K fitness walk, 5.8K and 13K chip-timed runs, and a youth half-mile fun run (contained within Cummings Family Park). Note: runners on the 13K course will be able to determine their 10K split with mileage markers. Participants on the 5.8K course will cross eight bike/pedestrian bridges; runners on the 13K course will cross 15 bridges and four boardwalks. Both course options will provide a true nature experience with a setting and scenery you just can't find anywhere else!
Registered 5.8K and 13k participants receive a commemorative finisher’s medal and T-shirt. Youth fun run participants receive a T-shirt and raffle entry.
Volunteers needed! Help create community by volunteering your time; assist with registration and packet pick-up, course monitoring, event set-up and clean-up, and more. Learn more and register to volunteer here.
We dedicate this year's event in memory of Madeleine Moseley, a dedicated supporter of Run with Nature, long-time member of the Folsom Athletic Association and the Friends of the Folsom Parkways, passionate community activist, and dear friend.
