Business Watch

Business Watch visits local businesses

Join us for our upcoming special presentation "Preventing Workplace Violence" with guest speaker Hector Alvarez on Thursday, June 22 at 4 p.m. at the Folsom Police Department Training Room. Reserve your seat by emailing us at FPDBusinessWatch@folsom.ca.us.

Modeled after the very successful Neighborhood Watch concept, the Business Watch program is designed to facilitate a relationship among business owners, employees, property managers, and law enforcement.

Business Watch enables the business community to take an active role in reducing crime, by raising awareness about commercial crime trends and by forming a community of business owners who look out for each other.

Business Watch members have the opportunity to participate in crime prevention training and will receive periodic electronic newsletters.  An educational Business Watch Handbook is available which contains crime prevention information to assist business owners and managers in training employees how to recognize suspicious activity and report crimes.

To join Business Watch, please contact Folsom Police Department Business Watch at 916-962-9779 or email fpdbusinesswatch@folsom.ca.us.
