The City of Folsom is hosting a grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 14 for the completion of the Johnny Cash Trail, a 2.5-mile trail that honors one of the world’s most famous country musicians and his influence on Folsom.
Work will begin Friday, August 18 on a water line replacement project, requiring a nighttime closure of one westbound lane on Greenback Lane between Folsom-Auburn Road and American River Canyon Drive. The closure will allow crews to replace an existing water line that is beyond its serviceable life and install approximately 1,000 linear feet of 12-inch water main.
The City of Folsom provides all residents with a free water usage and leak alert portal, Dropcountr, available today on Web, Android or Apple iOS. With Dropcountr, you and your family can track usage, make sense of price tiers, sign up for alerts, set goals and receive support, anytime, anywhere.
Join your friends and neighbors for Folsom’s largest day of volunteerism Saturday, September 16. The fourth annual Community Service Day will mobilize thousands of volunteers of all ages and interests to complete projects throughout Folsom that make a positive, lasting impact in the community. Beginning today, volunteers can sign up for community projects.
