We’re pleased to announce the fourth annual Community Service Day will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This event is Folsom’s largest day of volunteerism and service. This major citywide event mobilizes more than 2,500 volunteers of all ages and interests to complete service projects throughout Folsom.
Our goal is to connect volunteers with projects that make a positive, lasting impact in the Folsom area. We are seeking community-based projects for this year’s Community Service Day event.
Does your organization have a need for volunteer assistance and/or a service day project? Consider submitting a brief proposal to Christine Brainerd, City of Folsom Communications Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, March 24. A list of requested information is below.
In addition, a community brainstorming meeting is planned for Wednesday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m. to explore and identify potential projects in the community. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Folsom Community Center, located at 52 Natoma Street in Folsom. Please RSVP to email@example.com.
